Job Responsibilities: Shall have the primary responsibility of leading the day to
day internal operations of the business in accordance with strategic plan and
operating budget, including Human Resources, Information Technologies and
Facilities. Will be responsible and primary contact for all Labor Union
Management issues including Contract Negotiations; responsible for annual
health insurance renewal; Staff wellness and related job satisfaction surveys;
attend meetings and present information as directed by CEO; responsible for
developing and implementing the strategic planning priority as approved by
WOCAP Board; assist CEO in establishing an appropriate organizational structure;
conduct annual wage surveys to revise WOCAP salary scale and report to CEO and
Board.
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
- Bachelor degree in human relations or public administration field or equivalent experience. Must obtain SHRM Certification. Minimum of two years in the Human Resource field.
- Skills: Supervisory and Leadership skills are a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively – written and verbally. Must be able to assist and relate to a diverse population.
- Computer skills: including the ability to check electronic mail; entering data into program specific software for required reports and internet skills are required. Responsible for ensuring the highest level of ethical standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct is an essential function of this position.
Starting pay range: Negotiable
