    Hello Lima SHRM,

    Calendar invites will be sent to those who register for our next chapter meeting Thursday April 17, 2025 begining at 11:30 a.m at Ohio Means Jobs Conference Center.

    Kendra Nickel, Past President of Lima SHRM and Robin Rex, Secretary/Treasurer of Lima SHRM will be presenting on Succession Planning.

    Kendra L. Nickel, MBA, SHRM-SCP, ACC, is the current Director of Leadership Development for the HCF Family of Companies. Kendra’s responsibilities include creating, developing, and implementing leadership development efforts tied to business outcomes by building leadership development experiences, tools, and programs to enhance new leader assimilation, coaching, mentoring, and leadership assessments for all people managers in the organization. Kendra has been in the post-acute and long term care setting for 20 years serving in both the not-for-profit and the private sectors. Kendra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Bluffton University and holds her senior HR certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Kendra also holds her Certified Professional Coach and Certified Master Coach certifications from Center for Coaching Certification, is a member of the International Coaching Federation who also awarded her the Associate Certified Coach credential. Prior to her time at HCF, Kendra has also delivered Performance Appraisal, Team Building, Management Development Retreats and Service Excellence training, and has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Business in both the undergraduate and graduate programs at Bluffton University for six years. Kendra is an active Board member for the Lima SHRM chapter having served on that Board for 3 years.

    Robin L. Rex, SHRM-CP, PHR, is the Manager of Benefits and Employee Relations at TRULAND Equipment, a John Deere dealership with 18 locations in Indiana and Ohio employing over 590 people. Robin oversees benefit strategy, advises managers and team members, conducts internal investigations, ensures policy compliance, maintains handbooks, and manages HR compliance, behavioral coaching, exits, leadership development, and claims. With nearly 30 years in HR mainly in the service industry, she holds a BBA from the University of Toledo and serves on the Lima SHRM chapter Board.
