Kristen Mason-Glasscott and Penny Hunsicker with American Health & Wellness will be presenting on Employee Benefits & Wellness
American Health & Wellness (AHW), an independent insurance broker serving corporate clients since 2001, partners with clients to align benefits strategies with their broader organizational goals.
Kristen Mason-Glasscott is part of a team of data analysts, registered nurses, health coaches, benefit analysts, integrated nutritionists and other healthcare professionals that review data from your organization to develop strategies that improve the health of employees and spouses, especially among those with diagnosed chronic conditions. The data analytic platforms provide risk index scores based on the current risk of members and their actuarial risk index score which measures a members’ future financial and clinical health risk. Data analysts then work with the clinical health coaching teams to identify the members for one-on-one health coaching and participation in their disease management coaching programs. Kristen will explain what sets AHW apart from other brokers is their ability to dig deeper into data analytics and drill down to the member level. They utilize these insights to create a unique benefits strategy and action plan to optimize organizations benefit program.
Penny Hunsicker works with employee benefits and demonstrates how wellness initiatives can reduce current healthcare costs and prevent future expenditures, creating a positive ripple effect across organizations. Through customized programs, she empowers businesses to cultivate a culture of wellness that yields measurable outcomes, enabling them to negotiate more favorable terms with carriers and ultimately enhance both employee health and company performance. Driven by a deep respect for each client’s unique needs, Penny approaches health and well-being holistically, delivering bio-individualized support that fosters long-term success. Her expertise lies not only in personal health coaching but also in shaping wellness programs that transform organizational culture.
Learning Objectives: Share strategies to create a culture of wellness in the workplace that impacts future health insurance costs.
